Cluster and Linux Fileserver Downtime on December 11th

The compute cluster "Beehive" and the "Linux File Server" (aka "BeeGFS File Server) will be down for scheduled maintenance on Thursday, 2025-12-12, from 09:00 until about 16:30. (Note that this maintenance does NOT include the generic ITWM File Server - HOME, PROJECT, WORK directories will NOT be affected by this maintenance.)

Windows Terminal Servers Störung der Virtualisierungsplatform

Aufgrund eines Ausfalls unserer Virtualisierungsplatform sind gerade einige System unter anderem auch WTSe und Linux Server nicht erreichbar. Wir arbeiten gerade mit Hochdruck an einer Lösung.

We are having an outages in our virtualization platform. Therefore a lot of systems are unreachable. WTSe and some servers are part of it. We work on it.

  • Die Störung ist behoben, alle offiziellen Server und Dienste laufen wieder. Wer eigene VMs in der Virtual Cloud betreibt sollte überprüfen, ob die Maschinen eingeschaltet und betriebsbereit sind und diese ggf. neu starten. Bei Fragen oder Problemen hilft euch der Servicedesk gerne weiter.

    The issue has been resolved, and all official servers and services are running again. If you operate your own VMs in the Virtual Cloud, please check that the machines are switched on and ready for operation, and restart them if necessary. If you have any questions or problems, please contact the service desk for assistance.
